    Children are more prone to this problem than adults. If the lymph nodes get swollen during an infection, then its pretty normal. But if they swell for no apparent reason, you should get concerned. However, if there is no viral/bacterial infection, the reasons behind swollen lymph nodes can be one of the following
    1. Allergic reactions
    2. Arthritis
    3. Cancer
    3. Metabolic diseases
    4. Overactive thyroid gland
