    The song 'The Fool' was recorded by Lee Ann Womack, who is a well known country music singer. She shot to fame after releasing the 2000 hit "I hope You Dance".

    Her first album was released in the year 1997 followed by her second album "Some Things I Know" launched in the year 1998. Her third album "I Hope You Dance" released in the year 2000 was a huge hit. Over the period of years Womack recorded quiet a few duets which were released as singles. In the year 2002, her duet song along with Willie Nelson, "Mendocino Country Line" was declared a hit. Her fourth album "Something Worth Leaving behind" was released in the year 2002. During the summer of 2006, Womack publicly announced that she would soon unveil a new studio album.
