Which Is More Important, Your Birthday Or Christmas For Gifts?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Well, this all depends on your perspective.  I always thought that my birthday should be celebrated in a larger than way than my individual presents from Christmas.  This is because the celebration at Christmas is false for me, I don't believe in Christianity and the feat of Christmas has become an empty consumer driven frenzy instead.  For this reason, if someone was going to buy me a special present, I would prefer it were as a celebration of my life, rather than a fictional religious figure.

Each person is entitled to their own opinion of course, I understand that many people would believe this as heresy.  I suppose one thing for Christmas is that everyone gets to buy and exchange presents with each other and that is a very special thing.  Nonetheless, I personally like to give away things on my birthday, so it's always like that for me.
