Go to your local sub courthouse. They will have it there. However you cannot obtain one without paying. Mine was $20.00

I don't know anyway you can get one for free. Unless your parents have a copy. And if you weren't born locally, it will take at least several days and up to 2 weeks. And you would have to pay for it. But if you were born locally, call the County Recorder in the county where you were born and they will be able to tell you how much a copy is.
