Who Is The General Ourrel?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Perhaps you mean General John A. Orrell (not ourrel) who was a member of  the Texas Volunteer Guard in 1881 and 1886-1903, according to the Texas State Archives and Manuscripts. His call number is 401-207

TheTexas Adjudant General Service Records 1836-1935 also record three other men who served in Texas, here are their names and date they served.
    J.D. Orrell, Frontier Forces, 1870-71
    R.P. Orrell, Frontier Batallion 1874-1888 and 1901
    S.C.Orrell, Special Rangers 1916-1934
Perhaps one of these gentleman is the General you are looking for!

Of course, Brian Orrell is the General Secretary of Umast, however he is not a person we would, normally, refer to as a General.

I also found information about several general practioners and a psychologist whose last names are Orrell, but are not generals!
