Why Won't My Central Air Blow Cold After Turning It Off And Back On Again?
I had to turn the unit off to set off bug bombs in the house. Now that I turned everything back on, the motor blows and the fan works, but the air isn't cool. It ran cold and fine minutes before I turned it off. I can't find a reset by the compressor.

Try turning it off and off about three times in succession. I used to have to do that.
This used to happen with mine also. Not sure what causes it, but I think it was the thermostat itself, because we went to Home Depot, bought another one and replaced it. Haven't had any problem since.
