What Are The Constraints Being Faced By The Small Scale Industries?

Problems small scale industries face

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The biggest constraint faced by small industries is the acquisition of finances. They face a very tough time in hiring venture capitalists who can bring their business vision to reality by providing sufficient capital. The small industries are more vulnerable to economic shocks owing to the fact that big industries still survive in the case of economic recessions. The small industries are although easy to set up but they are difficult to sustain in the long run. If they are able to create a specific niche or customer segment in the market, their chances of survival increase. Small scale industries usually suffer from threat of industrial expansion, inadequate entrepreneurial skills available for handling the small companies, mobilization of capital investment and unequal accessibility to resources.
