What Is 100 Times 1000000?

Answer Question

    The beauty of multiplying digits that start with 1 and only contain zeroes is that you do not need a calculator or even a good mathematical brain. All you have to do is write the two digits together:

    100 x 1, 000,000

    Now simply remove the 'x 1' part from it (We all know 1x1=1).

    So, you are left with

    100 000 000

    Or look at it this way that you are simply taking the zeroes from one number and adding them to the other:

    100 x 1 000 000
    =100 0 0 0 0 0 0
    =100 000 000

    So, 10x10=100
    1000x100=100 000
    10 000x10= 100 000
    and so on...no rocket science, I promise!
