I Have An Existing 52" Ceiling Fan South Wind IV Model 204 004. How Would You Add The Remote Receiver When It Was Pre Wired Already I Have A Switch For Lights And Fan?

I'm new to this site. And the wiring is different it uses red and the diagram on the manual is black receiver wire(AC IN L) white (AC IN N) for supply AC . When I removed the ceiling fan and take a look on those wires I had only a green, blue from ceiling fan connect to black wire, black from ceiling fan connect to red wire. And I opened the switches the black wire connect for light switch and the red wire is for fan switch. Where should I connect the receiver and what wires?

The ac line in refers to constant power. (WH=N BL=L) The remote will not work with those switches in a simple manner. You can place the receiver in the fan and the remote will work with the switch on! Take the black and white at the fan and tie them to the ac line in as I coded above. The green ties to the bare wire in the fan box. The black from the fan is the light connection on the module and the black is the fan.

You can then also purchase the remote wall switch that goes where the light switch is. That will allow friendly use of both the remote and the wall switch, because as it stands now, if someone shuts off the light switch the remote will not work.
