Is It Good To Feed Goldfish With Cat Food?
Someone said that he had fish for 40 years and he fed his fish with cat food.

No way , goldfish`s digestive system is different from mammals such as cats, cat food simply can not work.

I'm sure it wouldn't hurt short term. But you need to purchase goldfish feed asap. It's pretty inexpensive and will last a good long while.

Cat food has ash and a lot of oils in it that really mucky the water. You're better off with cracker crumbs and 50% water changes.(depending on the size of your bowl) Oh yeah, don't change it daily.every 3 days (again- depending on how many and the size of your bowl) Good ole fish food has no substitute...
