My Daughter Has A White Pimple Like Sore On Her Arm. There Is Some Redness And It Appears To Have Some Swelling. What Is It? And What Do I Do To Help Her?

I just noticed that my daughter has a white pimple like sore on her arm. It is red and appears to be some swelling. It doesn't seem to be bothering her, but would like to know what would cause this and how to treat it at home.

Pimples on underarm can be folliculitis due to bacterial infections. This can be due to unhygienic conditions. Keep the under arm neat and clean and take antibiotics to treat these pimples. For prescription visit to a doctor.

the white pimple is not on her underarm - its on the top of her arm. This is the second one that we've found. My husband thinks that it is an allergic reaction to mosquito bites...cause in a few days the pimple and redness will disappear. I just have never heard of mosquito bites leaving that type of bite or allergic reaction. We live in the State of Idaho.
