    Live In A Nonsmoking Building But Landlord Let Smokers Move In.my Baby And I Are Getting Very Sick-what Can I Do?its Against The Lease And My Landlord Won't Handle The Situation.

    I just need some information as to who can help me..i've tried everything and i'm desperate. My baby keeps getting sicker and i am not in a position to move...nor should i have to...when i'm not the one breaking the lease.

    If it is against the lease agreement than you can go to the local authorities or courts. You can break the lease without even paying any extra charges because the landlord is at fault. Moreover to avoid any further problems, you can also ask the smokers not to smoke in your near vicinity.

      Maybe you could move out if you have the money. I think there is some type of medication but I'm not sure. The same problem happened to me and my mom a few years ago. We had a long conversation with the landlord about our health issues. The landlord should be ashamed of his/herself because you have a sick baby due to neighbors that don't care about their lung, the environment and the people the poisen when they smoke.
