I think it is! Have you ever taken a pet to the vet? Just this last winter, all 5 of my cats took sick with a cold. I took one in, it cost me $300.00! And to take all 5 in would have put us in the poor house. I made the doctor (rip off artist) give me the medicine for the other cats. I was not going to take them in. If I had the insurance, I could have taken them all in, and they would have come out healing quicker.

I agree with the above. I add that you need to check that the policy will cover your pet for its lifetime - so long as you pay the premiums of course.  You will find that a lot of the cheaper policies will only cover a condition for a limited time and stop covering your pet when it is elderly, just when you may need it most!

Pet insurance can be good but it can also be tricky.  Be sure to check all the fine print and ask many questions.

Pet Insurance is a sensible idea.  Image if you cat/dog etc fell ill and you could not afford to pay for an operation.  Vet bills can be very expense and for as little as £5 a month your pet will be covered!
