Attention-Deficit Disorder is a developmental disorder which is neurological in nature. It usually develops in the childhood. This disorder is characterized by persistent pattern of inattention or hyperactivity, forgetfulness, poor impulse control, impulsivity, and easy distractibility. The fact that your boy friend has a poor memory does not imply that he is suffering from ADD. Though memory issues are one of the symptoms of this disease, he needs to get a complete checkup before you can make any deductions of your own.
