If you are going to go that route, I would say yes but you are likely going to slow yourself down. It is much more likely that your system will work better going the other direction and using the laptop to route the system to your psp but I have not tried either before. The best scenario would be to go to a wireless router, would be my first suggestion. Hardwire the PSP to the router and then use wifi for your laptop if available, or get an independent router for both hardline connections.

As there is no way to direct-wire an internet connection to a PSP, and what's more, no way to direct connect wirelessly TO a PSP, save between PSPs (via ad hoc mode), the answer would be a definite NO.

If you have a wired router that you can use to connect to the internet, there are places you can go to buy a USB 'dongle' that will allow your PSP to connect to the internet through your computer, but as the psp does NOT have any form of IP configuration system, nor a way for it to assign an ip address to ANYTHING, it is unable to pass an internet connection to your pc, nor to any other device. Not even another psp.

Sorry to have to give you the bad news, but as an avid PSP user, I felt you should have the real info. Best of luck, and have a great day.
