My 18 Year Old Cat Is A Very Swollen Around Her Middle?
Our cat is 18 years old and has never been ill. We've noticed the last couple of days she's been very swollen around her middle. She's eating fine and doesn't seem to be in any pain. Any ideas?

Your cat seems to be pregnant so take care of it. Feed it healthy diet and keep the area clean around it. If you are sure that she is not pregnant at all then it can be some disease, so you don't take it easy. There can be a chance of constipation. It causes swelling in the middle of abdomen. Increase its intake of water and provide it with light food. There are also few chances of FIP that is a viral disease. It attacks when a pet has weak immune system. When it is very young or when it crosses age of 12 and grows older. It causes accumulation of fluid, which can cause blockage in body and lead to death even due to heart failure.
