What Is The View Of Situation Ethicist On Human Cloning?

Human cloning has been very frowned upon for instance would you want another Hitler, or Sadam Hussain.  On the other hand, they seem to have no problem with cloning animals for meat.  Apparently, there are meat products on the shelves as we speak, but are not required by law to disclose this to the public.  I know that cloning animals have resulted in severe defects, and here, we have had more than our share of meats being recalled.  A few people have died from this.  So, makes you wonder, was this cloned meat?? If they don't need to disclose, well, what are the rights of the general public.  As well clonned animals usually have severe defects.  Is it right to clone people only to have a poor duplicate.  These are all things that must be taken into consideration
