My dog has been shaking for 3 days. The shaking stops when he sleeps. He is eating/drinking normal. Can a dog be so scared that he shakes for days? The VET thinks he may have been poisoned, but he has not vomited nor had diarrhea. I've noticed that he shakes only when he makes an attempt to move. Please help!

Well,your dog might be poisoned. Sounds like he is very sick. It might happen because of kidney failure or a blood clot. You should be careful from now. He might be allergic to something. Go and get his proper check up. Don't wait for him to vomit. Hope he gets well soon.
