Maxine Paetro is an American author. Her first book is entitled How to Put Your Book Together and Get a Job in Advertising. It was published in the year 1979. Editions of her book on advertising are still in print today.

In addition to this book, she has written three novels. The titles of these novels are Manshare, Babydreams and Windfall. All these three books were published in a span of about years that is between the year 1986 and the year 1991.

She is also the author of the biography of singer and actor Bobby Darin and his former wife, the actress Sandra Dee. The title of this biography, which was published in the year 1993, is Dream Lovers: The Magnificent, Shattered Lives of Bobby Darin and Sandra Dee By Their Son, Dodd Darin.
