My son has this, at least his doctor says so. He tells me not to worry, but as any parent I can't help it. I'm either overlooking something or it's not listed.

The strept is the abbreviation of Streptococcus, gram positive bacteria responsible for causing systemic infection in human especially in throat. It is not present directly in blood but our body produce a specific antibody against him which is detected in blood and said positive Streptococcus.
