Why Is It Important To Study Biology, Even If You Are Not Planning A Career In Biology?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

The choice of studying Biology or not depending on whether someone wants to take it up as a career is something entirely up to the individual. It depends on the level of interest an individual has in the subject. Some people may be just passionate about the subject as it satisfies an inner urge to know what makes the world around us tick. Sir Charles Darwin was one such individual, he was a naturalist, a career choice that is rather obsolete now a days whose job was to document all the species he encounters and ended up with one of the greatest paradigms that shaped the 21st century. Likewise, you never know what you can come up with. However, it seems to answer many of the questions that we have about life and it's origin on our planet and reflects endless possibilities that shape the modern world. So, if it is passion that drives you to study this subject go ahead and by all means do study, it might as well be a very rewarding experience for you.
