How Has Crime Technology Lowered The Crime Rate?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Crime technology has proved to minimize the proliferation of cyber-crimes and keep in check the handiwork of organized syndicates. The study of criminology and forensic medicine has enabled experts and sleuths to find out to keep a track of crimes and criminals.

Forensic science helps the experts to make use of technology to investigate for cues and present them before the court of law as evidence.  The forensic science makes use of cues like finger prints, skin, DNA samples, blood, hair strands, semen and other body fluids to check for underlying reasons and circumstances of a crime. Crime-mapping, lie-detectors, finger-printing etc are some of the common techniques used to nab the criminals. Imaging software can take the cues of a witness and draw a graphic illustration of a suspect. At the same time, one must also say that as though technological advancements take place to keep crimes in check, there are always ways and means for people to find some loopholes and get away. Sometimes they are caught and sometimes they manage to sneak away. Crime technology, in short, has managed to lower the crime-rate to a certain extent.
