What Is A Black-hole?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Black hole is something whose existence in space has been theorized by majority of the space scientists. According to the scientists and researchers, black hole is an extremely dense body having very strong gravitational field so that nothing can be escaped from its zone. This body is completely dark and black which means light enters but can't be escaped. A spherical boundary surrounds this body and is usually suspected to form during the stellar evolution process.

A black hole is a point in space which is very, very, very dense. They result from the collapse of huge stars. When the star runs out of energy, it implodes upon itself, and all of its weight is concentrated into an infinitely small point. This point is the centre of the black hole, or its singularity. Because the black hole is so incredibly dense, it has a huge gravitational pull. Its gravity is so strong, not even light can escape, and time itself is distorted at a black hole. They will suck up anything and destroy anything in their path.
