I'm in need of the money in my 401k. But, I need it within 3 days. I was wondering if it was possible?

Although most 401-K plans allow for personal loans, few if any companies can turn around a loan request in 3 days. Such requests have to go through a 3rd party administrator for approval. Then they have to be sent to the fund manager to make the loan and send you a check. The total time it takes to do this is normally 1-3 weeks. 3 days is probably highly unlikely. Your landlord may be convinced of your sincerity if you show him a copy of your 401K loan request and give you extra time to pay your rent. Good luck!
