What Are Glaciers And How Are Glaciers Formed?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Glaciers are permanent ice, (or permanent until it gets too warm!)  and they are formed by each season's snow/sleet fall not thawing during the summer, and each successive season's accumulation compresses the mass so it becomes dense like ice instead of just snow.
