Me and my boyfriend are visiting the Dominican republic in November and were wondering if you need a passport with a machine readable to enter as you do in the USA?

As of now you DO NOT need a RFID Chipped Passport to enter the Dominican Republic. RFID Chipped passports will be required after December 31, 2008.
Too be 100% sure I would recommend calling the US DOS (Dept. Of State) @ 202-663-1225
