    Dear Septic; Thanks For The Answer. Now I Have A New One. Can Anyone Help?

    My friend who moved to a new home has another question. The apartment complex now says she has to pay the rent on the apartment until it is rented. She did not break her lease and moved out before the end of the month so they could start showing it . She said it is written in the lease agreement but I don't think it is legal if nothing was breached and the keys were turned in early so they could clean the apartment. What do you think ?Thanks, rich 1939

    I would think if it is written in the lease agreement that would mean just until the end of the month.   Not until they rent it out again.  That could be a lot longer.   Tell her to call a lawyer.   They don't always charge for questions like that.
