From Inside A Convenience Store, Can An Employee Use Your Credit Card To Pay For Gas, After You Have Just Filled?
The latest scam: A co-worker used her credit/debit card to purchase gas at the pump (like most of us do). She received her receipt like normal. However, when she checked her statement, there were 2 $50 charges added. In addition to her purchase.

Yes, this is easily possible. In fact, I have also been a victim of such a fraud at a local gas station. However, i talked to the credit card company and was able to get those charges waived of as I threatened to stop using their card if they did not help.
So now, I use cash inside such stores that I am new to. Only credit card at the pump if it is automated.
Good Luck and hope she gets credited for that amount.
