When buying a dehumidifier you should know roughly the square footage of the home.
If it is roughly 1,900 sq. Ft. Then a good bet that a humidifier rated for 2,000 sq. Feet would be ample unless the problem is severe then one would go to perhaps 2,500 to 3,000 sq. Foot capacity.
Do not make the mistake of "over Kill" and get something set for 5 to 6 thousand sq. Feet.
