My cat Minnie is a Chinchilla and very small for her age. She is approximately 13 years old and has begun to look a little moth eaten. She still has a great appetite but does tend to stare at water even though she is drinking.

Her eyesight could be failing, and she could have some sort of infection in her lungs, you should take her to the veterinarian. Hope this helps.
