I don't have a cell phone right now but would like to try to send a pic from my computer.

Yahoo allows SMS texting to cell phones, through their instant messenger, however, I am not sure if they allow pictures to be sent via that way as well. I have never tried it, but I have texted a cell phone from my Yahoo Instant Messenger.

It depends upon the connection you are using for your phone. It is a possibility that your friend's connection can be sent a message through internet. For that you must check its website.

Not really. You only have to send it through your e. Mail account to the persons account.If the other person has the internet conection in the cell .He can easily get it.
