U see i heard that if you get it done before you are 16 that it can give you stretch marks and you will have problems when you become pregnant when you are older!!!
So if someone reads this and knows the answer......please answer it!!!

Well i will be 14 when i get it done.i heard if you are not fully grown it's bad to get it!!!!
So could someone please reply quick enough because i'm planning to get it done for my 14th birthday and that's in less than a month so i need the answer to see if it's safe to get it and if it is i have to start nagging at my parents quick and i should have broken them by the time by birthday comes around!!!!!

I had my belly button peirced when i was 14 and then i got pregnant and it doesn't do anything, you can get it done now.
I am 12 and i want to get mine done but my stupid mom said i couldt but my dad said yes but my dad is listining to my mom so u should be able to get it dont when ever u want because my brothers girlfriend is like 18 or 19 and she got hers done when she was 13 so u are safe nothing wrong should happen
My sister got hers done when she was thirteen, it didnt get infected or anything. She was waiting for the woman to start, and she said DONE! And my sis is like, ok u can start now.... And it was already pierced LOL and im getting mine done soon. My mum/mom had hers pierced when she was pregnant and nothing bad happened. :D hope that helps.. Timtam

No you can't you're 11.
Now you pierced and 11 years old that is too young you dont need it right now maybe when your 12 or a littler older like 13 more in your teens if you are looking for a piercing do it on you ears first then decide what you want next (the ears meaning the top or have the industrial one but not you belly or tounge teens are too you young for that type of piercing maybe if you 15 or 16 is fine but younger is not cool
Got mine pierced when I as 12 it doesn't hurt at all and went totally fine just hurts for a couple weeks afterwards!!

There has to be some kind of moderation. Strict but not too strict. Make sure you are being strict about the things that really matter. Yes if you are to strict your kid will most likely end up going against you, maybe not while they are still home with you under your rules. But once its time to go to college or leave the house. There will be too much freedom all at once and they will go crazy and most likely end up in a bad situation. And the deal with piercings and stuff.. I think you should really think about it, maybe even hold off a month after really thinking about it an if you really want it and think you are mature enough to have a belly piercing and will take care of it then go for it. My mom always told me as long as its not permanent. So tattoes underage were out of the question in my house. But piercings you can always take out and let them close up.

For a belly pierce is not recomended for young teens for the reasons that other people would look at it diffently . Why do you want you peircing their i really think teens should start with their ears first and then belly but is up to them to decide

Im 12 and im going to get mine done soon. My friend got hers done at 10 and said it didnt hurt so i would say go for it. Who cares what other peoples moms think.

Is not what moms and people think they are just trying to protect you for getting hurt in the wrong way piercings like the belly and tounge is wrong because they sexual piercing guys would see it and they would think your easy and a slutty type a girl and they might hurt you if their is guys out their who are just mean and looking for girls to do things so having piercings like that are very bad for young girls at least if your older you could protect your self when your alone.
Dont listen to wat Luna66star sed it aint like ur gonna go around havin sex wiv guys its just a piercin. Do wat i do if people call ya names like slutty just tell them ur not slutty and ur gunna be wat u want 2 be not other people. Just dont go behind ya parents back !!!! Good luck :) x

Do what you want to do. Thats if your parents agree, im getting mine done when im 12 or 13, [im 11]. And my sister has friends that got theres done when they where 10. Plus, your tshirt covers it, so dont listen to the people that say your tooooooooo young. Go for it! :D

I wouldn't let my daughter get a piercing at this age. I wouldn't even let her do that at 16 and still living at home. I am strict about that. She doesn't need to act like some of the kids out there that are really over the edge, getting pregnant and running away all the time.

Oh thanks alot. I'm a teen mom and i think that if you're too strict on your daughter or children they'll probably go against you and do what they want, take it from me, someone who has been through this.
K, you might be a teen mother, but this is what I was saying, My daughter is not going to be a teen mother, she is a very responsible and smart girl. She is ahead of her class enough so that she is teaching the older kids in school because she is that good at this. She sees what it is like to be a teen mother, and how many teen mothers lose their kids from not being adult enough to take care of them. I think she is a great kid, and I am a great mother thank you. I love her.
Well i i agree with the teen mother. I know a mother who was very strict with her kids one of the wanted a piercing in the belly because she wanted to be in the new fashion of todays new era. Well with time passing she did not let her do that and guess what happend she got it done by a friend got infected and now she had surgery done . It was very crazy of how infected it got after all happend the mother said sorry for not understanding what you need to do with your daughter is to be her friend

My mate was aloud 2 get her belly pierced considerin her mum came up with the idea & she is 11 yrs old. So now like 10 people of mi mates who are 11 have got there belly pierced & 3 of mi mates have got there nose pierced at 11. I am 11 years old and i have asked mi mum and dad and they said they will they just have 2 check the shop but the shop will cos mi mate got it done there at 11. I think it looks really cool and it aint slutty its not like a nose where u cant cover it up u can cover belly
Well im almost 15 and im getting my tongue pierced, but my mom got her belly button done and it was infected for 8 month and it was pretty bad. And if your only 12 i would say just what till your 13, because then your a teen then it would be cool, but be care full.........and try not to nag your parents about it they could get mad and say NO!!!!! ...........but dont worry

Well yeah you are just expressing your self and i got mine done when i was 10 . Just say you know how to take care of it and then throw in some chores. Then she then will realise you have the responsibility to have one. They will probably say no you are to young but then say i have the responsibility to take care of it and it is not a big deal. It is a hole in your body. Is it hurting anyone? And then ask your mom if she knows even know how much it means to you.Then print off papers of How To Take Care Of A Belly Button or How To Clean A Belly Button Piercing and put it were she can see it. Then if she still says no then get it behind her back and thats what i did when i was 10

NO!! First of all, I'm a guy, and 17 and I know that me and all of my friends agree that belly button piercings are not attractive, they're slutty. The girl may be hot, but no one wants to date a girl with one. Especially if you're 12 which is way, way too young to get any piercings that aren't ear piercings.

Why do you think ear piercings are better? You can cover you belly ring up and just cuz 1 year olds get there ears pierced doesnt mean its wrong for a 12 year old to get her belly button pierced!
I think 12 is a bit young to get a piercing...i mean your body is still maturing and stuff and you might not want it later on. But i got mine done like a month ago and the piercing itself didnt hurt it was more afterwards and also since your still in school and stuff you have to avoid doing stretches because that hurts alot. SO my advice is think about it. BTW if you do end up getting it good luck:D

It hurt all the time, and pus came out all the time.

I'm 12 and i'm gonna ask my mom if i can get mine done. I think she'll say yes because she herself has piercings and tattoos. I have 4 earring holes in each ear already. It's not like im gonna go around showing everyone anyway!

Getting a belly piercing at 12 is fine if you are going to properly take care of it. A belly piercing does not make you slutty or whorish. Its just a piercing. The same as your ears, nose, or eyebrow!
