How Is British Airways Ranked Among Other Airlines?

Skytrax provides the most in-depth airline rankings and evaluations, listing the world's best airlines as "five star" carriers and the world's worst in the "one star" category. Within this ranking system, Skytrax gave British Airways four stars over all.

BA earned the highest points for the seat comfort in its business class cabins, where the airline received five stars, as well as full points for the quality of cockpit communications during the flight, at which point passengers are provided direct information by the captains.

For most categories, BA received either four or three stars. For example, in terms of the enthusiasm and attitude of the staff, as well as the in-flight magazine and check-in services for economy class passengers, the UK flag carrier received four stars. In terms of economy class meals and in-flight entertainment, however, BA earned three stars.

BA earned the lowest points in the category of complimentary newspapers and magazines distributed to economy class passengers, where the airline received only two stars.
