    The Sounds of Perseverance was the seventh and the last ever album released by the band called "Death". The album was released on the 15th of September in the year 1998. This album was particularly made on the basis of melodic death metal; it was also progressive in many ways. The average length of each song is about six minutes.

    It is said that some of the songs featured on the Sounds of Perseverance were originally going to appear on the Control Denied album. This album features extremely powerful songs like; Spirit Crusher, Moment of Clarity and Bite the Pain. The album also featured a critically acclaimed cover of a Judas Priest song called "Painkiller". The album also featured an instrumental song called Voice of the Soul, it is considered to be one of the best instrumental songs ever.
