Brown furniture is a very good choice. You have several colors you can use for your walls, or accent just one wall. Mint or sage green, coral or peach and taupe or creamy shades all go well. Visit the paint store and get the samples, and bring them home. Under your own home lighting see which colors you like best. Good luck with your decorating.
