The best I can suggest to do, is to follow her around. She may be acting as if she doesn't know where they are so that you will leave her alone, most cats are protective of their young, and if there is a male, some male cats will eat baby kittens so the female will get in heat sooner...also mother cats have been known to eat their young...If she was a good mother before, then this probably isn't the case, if the kittens were still born she would still know where they where because she would be able to smell them, she would smell herself on them, look in any dark corners, boxes, closets, behind couches, etc...any small crevices she may be able to fit in comfortably, also if you notice that she is eating quickly and running off, she may be feeding them. I once had a cat, and I followed her around until she couldn't stay away from her kittens any longer, and she had them in an old discarded wood stove, she had climbed into the pipe in the bottom, and given birth in the stove...just a thought, if any their are any large holes in your house, an attic, or basement.
