Answers
British constitution was not drafted or compiled at a particular time ; it has rather an evolutionary growth spreading over many centuries. this evolution has been characterized with consistency and coordination while the relationship with the past and present never been rent ascended.
The British constitution has never been reduced to writing in a documentary form at a particular time; it has rather an evolutionary growth. Conscious efforts as well as needs of time shaped it spontaneous growth. Important acts of the parliament and judicial decisions fall under the first category. While unwritten sources such as conventions also played their due role in the development of the constitutional law. Moreover, this evolution has been characterized with consistency and smoothness and the subsequent changes remained evenly and gradual.
Secondly if we talk about the unwritten nature of English constitution, it does not imply that all of its parts are unwritten. It means it has not been transformed in a written form. Some of its components are found explicitly in written form such as historical documents, important acts of parliament and common law. All these parts deal with such important aspects of the political system as organisation of judiciary , local government , powers and composition of the house of commons , elections and electorate and etc.
