Can You Help Me Solve This Logarithm Ln (2x - 9) - Ln (x - 5) = Ln 5?

Answer Question

    Taking antilogs, your equation is
    (2x - 9)/(x - 5) = 5

    Multiplying by x-5, you get
    2x - 9 = 5(x - 5) = 5x - 25
    -9 = 3x - 25    (subtract 2x from both sides)
    16 = 3x    (add 25 to both sides)
    16/3 = x    (divide both sides by 3)

    Check
    Ln(2(16/3)-9) - Ln((16/3)-5) = Ln(5)
    Ln(32/3 - 27/3) - Ln(16/3 - 15/3) = Ln(5)
    Ln(5/3) - Ln(1/3) = Ln(5)
    .51083 - (-1.09861) = 1.60944
    .51083 + 1.09861 = 1.60944    (true)
