The total number of cards in a deck of cards is 52. There are thirteen cards of spade and four cards of ace. There is only one card which is ace as well as a spade in a deck of 52 cards.

Let A be the event that the a card is selected and it is ace of spade.

      n(A)= 1

      n(S)= 52

      P(A)= n(A)/n(S)

      P(A)= 1/52
