I just talked to OESC, according to them it will be the 1st of december before you can apply for the tier 3 extension....however, if you have exhausted your tier 2, the new law placed an additional week of benefits to it. If it has been over 4 weeks since you have filed a claim, you have to call a rep. And they have to "re-open" your case. I found out I had the additional week by inquiring on the status of my claim. And be prepared to hold, It took me 4 hours to get thru, then over an hour on hold. Call early!
