Can My Boss Force Me To Work Full Time Instead Of Part Time? Can I Collect Unemployment If I Say No?

Can I collect NJ unemployment if I refuse to work full time instead of part time that I had been hired as and have worked part time 32 hours for the last 4 1/2 years. My company would consider that I voluntarily resigned if I do not go full time???

It could be possible that you will get unemployment in case of refusal, but there are some ways by which you can avoid this, like sit and converse your problem with your boss  if not than demand more salary in this case, it might be possible that your boss will not force you again for full time.

You cannot be forced to work full-time.  If you are let go because you chose not to, you are eligible for part-time unemployment benefits.
