´Kid Poker´ is the name that poker professional Daniel Negraneau chooses to call himself.
The likeable Romanian, whose parents emmigrated to Canada when he was a baby is the leading all-time money earner on the WPT (World Poker Tour) circuit, having amassed just under $10million in tournament winnings. Negraneau has cashed in a record four consecutive WPT events and is known to be one of the nicest, if not deadliest poker players on the circuit.
Such is The Kid's ability and skill that he was voted the 2004 Poker Player of the Year AND the World Series Poker Player of the Year. This goes along with his WPT Player of the year award as well.
Feared? Certainly. Admired? Definitely. Liked? Absolutely – Daniel channels lots of his winnings back into the sport and is currently sponsoring four protégées to take on the world. Beware of The Kid… a wolf in sheep's clothing!
