Do Aboriginals Live In The Great Barrier Reef?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

No...the Great Barrier Reef is underwater off the coast of Queensland. Modern aborigines live in townships along the coast just as other Australians do. There are no traditional tribal areas as far as I know. There is however tribal ownership of Kakadu and partly of Daintree.
