If My Cat Has A Blockage From Eating Dry Food Will It Work Its Way Out?

Answer Question

1 Answer - Sort by: Date | Rating

Dry cat food should not necessarily cause constipation in cats.  Constipation will not resolve spontaneously.  Seek veterinary medical attention if your cat is still constipated.  Your cat will likely needs enema(s) and further medical management.  Your veterinarian can also discuss future preventative measures.
