During eighteenth century the British colonised every nuke and corner of the world.  They collected huge volumes of natural as well as mineral resources from there and dumped to Great Britain for making it finished one.  Huge human efforts were needed for it and cost of production is also high at that time. So they built big factories and invented new machines and they amalgamated huge human resource from rural areas and urban areas were become more popular and people liked to live urban areas rather than rural areas.  All these paved the way for industrial revolution.
