Besides the American Kennel Association (which has this info on their web site), and various other WEB sites, you can try calling your areas Chihuahua Rescue Society, which usually only accepts full bred and registered adoptees. They may not give out the number for any of their adopters, however they will take your number and have whoever is interested contact you. Your veterinarian is also a good source of information.
