I was born an A and my parents are both O+ .. I've been trying to better understand this and what affects it could possibly have.. So if anyone has any information please post.. Thanks

If both parents are O there is no way for them to have anything other than O children.
All O blood types carry the genes OO so there is nothing for them to pass on other than an O gene.
Every person has 2 genes that make up their blood type.
An A can be AA or AO a B can be BB or BO and AB person is obviously AB and O's are OO
So the parents each pass one gene on to you from their 2 genes and that is what makes up your blood type.
