Should College Athletes Get Paid?

Many people have different opinions on this subject. Some say that college athletes should get paid, yet many disagree and say that they should not. People who think that college athletes should NOT get paid tend to say that the athletes get enough money from their scholarships, while people who think college athletes should get paid say that the athletes can barely get by with their scholarship money. This has me wondering what to believe. Please help!

I believe college athletes should not get paid as in the sense of a pro player getting paid.  I do believe though that there should be special funds to help college athletes get what they need to play the sport etc.  College athletes start to have more needs to compete the sport then a high school athlete.  A person goes to college to get an education and to play sports they have to work to show that they deserve to be there.  This is the last step to prove if they can go pro and actually get paid to do that sport.  The NCAA or similar organizations make rules or limitations on what athletes need in order to compete.
