Should I Breed A Red Nose Pit With Pit Lab?

Answer Question

2 Answers - Sort by: Date | Rating

Why? The Pit Lab isn't a pedigree. There are no "wonderful traits" that should be included in the gene pool. If you want pups, go to a pound and adopt a whole family of them. They're there. Just waiting to be loved...

The dog population has been absolutely decimated by the home foreclosure problem. Dogs turned in right and left. That problem, combined with the high cost of vet bills in a down economy, has caused dogs by the tens of thousands to be turned in at shelters. I hope you won't add to the problem.

No, you shouldn't if you are doing it for money because most people are after purebred puppies and not cross breeds, and also you won't get much money out of it, because it is a very strange breed to mix the pitbull with, it's best to keep it pure.
