Our female is pregnant we bred her when she was 2 for the first time and they are pregnant for approx.57-72 days we have decided to only breed her once a year they usually only come in heat two  times per year about every six months and she is not able to get pregnant until a few days or a week after she first comes in heat this is when she will be ready and should accept the male and just a quick note if they tie together don't pull them apart it can hurt them they will figure it out on there own this is natural even though she may cry and you feel helpless they are ok hope this helps
